rockford fosgate, although they are good proven quality that I dont think many would dispute. its also expensive. hifonics makes good amplifiers. and Im not positive but Im guessing that rockford amp maxs at 100 Watts rms, probably at 1 ohm. just a guess I dont feel like going to look. well the Hifonics has 1600 Watts at 1 ohm. and I think around 1000 or so at 2 ohms, which is what you will probably be wiring for if you use 2 woofers. so I would go with the hifonics amp. Don't use the wattage rating as the final template to decide how you buy.a wattage range is usually a good starting point, as is THD (what good is 1000watts if 10% of the power is THD?) a THD rating of .05 and lower is ideal. Also look at signal to noise ratio, frequency response as well as circuitry protection and multiple wiring options to suit your tastes.
