Depends on the car, and it's age. but no matter what, you can always buy something better than what came in your car. It all depends on how happy you are with what's allready in the car, and what your expectations are.

most original eqipment is junk. speaker cones are made of paper. the differnce would be like listening to a subwoofer from the 70s and compairing it to a sub made today. huge differnce.
