How could i possibly hook subwoofers to a TV?

I just bought a big screen tv and i have these sub woofers already in a box, with a 650 watt mono amp. is there a way to hook these up to the tv and make them functional? if so, how?

you would have to get a large power supply that transforms ac power to dc power then you would have to get a rca cable and plug it into the out on the back of the tv and then plug the other side of the rca cable into the in side of the amp. when that is done you have to power up the power supply and turn on the amp and adjust it so that it soundsgood. i cant really help u with this. get a power converter thats around 65 amps atleast to be on the safe side. this will probly cost you alot of money though so you probly wont want to do it.

You could hook up the subs, but not the amp.. You would need some sort of receiver for the speaker wires. but the amp would be hard, if not impossible to do.

brollin and whitler r both right but the most practical way is brollins, get a reciever to run it but recievers run them alot diff and not as good as the amp would, they usually arent enough power, just be careful not to fry somethign.
