Subwoofer Control for PIONEER DEH-P590IB PREMIER?

Question:
I bought a PIONEER DEH-P590IB PREMIER stereo and was wondering if I need a some type of cable where I can shut the subs off with the radio turn them on because with the radio I have now its an old pioneer that came with the car. Its a stock pioneer for premium sound that came with my Toyota 4runner so now that im upgrading I want to be able to turn subs off and enhance the subs performance with the radio. I've heard there some cable where you can do this.

Well i have a 95 cavalier and i put subs and an amp in it.?

THANKS

Good Amp for Subwoofer?

I have a pioneer head unit, and it happens to be a lower end model than the one you have, and it has a subwoofer (SW) output for the amp in the back. Surely yours should have one too. You would just need to run an RCA cable from that output to your amp, and you should be able to turn the amp on and off by going into the menu. You should check out your manual, it should tell you how to do this. Hopefully that helps.
