For your main power wire I would recommend 10 gauge at the least to ensure the system is getting enough power. Also, running thinner wire (high number) can ultimately melt due to the amplifier drawing more current than that particular gauge allows. Melted wires can cause major problems. For the wiring from your amplifier to the subs 16 or 18 should work fine.

Edit:
0 and 4 gauge will be overkill for this particular setup. Unless you plan on a major future upgrade then don't worry about the hassle of installing such thick wiring.
Subowoofer sounds crappy is setup right??
just pick up some stereo wire at radio shackit's not so much the gauge you have to worry about, but the insulation
the thicker the insulation the better
Will a Pyramid PB717X put out 500 w RMS per channel?
I used 12 gauge subwoofer wire to run my subs. I would use 18 gauge wire for the speakers/tweeters.Well it all depends on how large your input holes are on your amp. I personally like to use 4 gauge wire, but if your amp can handle it and you dont mind spending a little bit more, I would recomend 0 gauge for your subs.
Best vehicle subwoofers / amp for metal?
if ur talkin about speaker wire that runs from ur amp 2 subs then any speaker wire will be fine.Should I replace my sub with components?
you want to run 4 gaugewith all power wire you will lose some power through the length
if you run anything less than 4 gauge your amp wont be performing to its max
and from the amp to the subs you should do no less than 12gauge
