Sirius Satallite radio question for mercedes c230?

Question:
I have a 05 mercedes c230 and the car installers are telling me I need extra parts for it to sound clear. They said it will be 150 just to install it. Any suggestions?

Can anyone do a carfax report on this car?

I have the regular six disc cd changer/radio that comes stock.

Is kicker a good brand?

That is true unless you just run the satellite connection through the channel tuner.. but those have a tendencey to fade in and out.. or if you have the tape adapter.. but it doesn't sound like you have one of those either. You could try installing it yourself-- but i don't know how much you want to mess up your mercedes...

What is the difference between subs facing toward the front seat or away?

oh by the way... i would think about getting XM and not sirius.. they might merge and xm technology is better... If they don't merge XM is still better (We bought both to compare for six months.)
