crutchfield has these shallow mount subs, perfect for ur application. they are used for backseats of a truck, and u can also buy the box for them also. the makes that are available are infinity, rockford, and kicker. good luck!!

I have a 99 new body style chevy extended cab. Dont know if it would be the same or not. I was going to buy the specialized box made for my truck for like 200+ dollars. I tried a standard truck (for a standard cab) sub box, and it fits perfect under the driver-side of the rear seat. You can pick those up for under 40 bucks everywhere. Dont waste your money on expensive custom box before trying a standard truck box.
