amp kit for your sub amp is 4 gauge. you could use 8 gauge, but i'd recomend 4 just for the simple fact in the future you might want 2 subs, or a bigger amp, or whatever the case may be. that way you wont have to re-run 4 gauge, it will already be done.

ok there are a couple of things i did not inclued. you'll need a box for your sub. now if i were you, i'd have one custom made from a private shop. or i'd make it myself. the box needs to be 1 cubic foot if you want it sealed. 2 cubic feet if you want ported. you'll also need a mounting kit for your HU, and a wiring kit for it was well. with everything you should be at about 1,000 and you'll have a system that sounds great, if you tune it right.

its hard to get a nice system for under a thousand bucks when your looking at speakers and subs with amp... your best bet would go with some kicker speakers for your doors and back of the car and kicker subs. since ur trying to keep it under a thousand, try kicker cvr or l5s. 10 12 15 in, whatever suits u.. with an amp that powers them right. check ebay for some great prices.More Questions & Answers ...
