its just the resistance of the powerflow from your amp to your subs... that 500 watts rms x1 means thats wut 1 sub runs at.. and the 4 ohms is the resistance. same with teh other one cept its a 2 ohm load. just make sure you match the correct ohm and wattage to an amp.
