Answers:
Speaker power is not as useful as know what your amplifiers use.
Can I use the 12V plug-in hole in the back of my car to power an amp for speakers?
But P=AV, P is power, A is amps and V is voltage. The problem is the speaker voltage is modulated to make the sound. The amplifiers will have V fixed, I expect 13.5 volts. The current may be specified for a maximum load so if your speakers are a maximum load you can use this.
What is the best set up i could get on a 300$ budget?
However, using the formula putting in the RMS of the woofer
I just bought a Kenwood car stereo. What ipod cable do I use?
600 = AV, if V is 13.5
Just about ready to install my Rockford T300001BD, but need some help first...?
600 = 13.5A
Divide both sides by 13.5
Anyone have a VOLFENHAG amplifier?
A = 44.4 so that's how many amps for the woofer which does not include waste in the amplifier so I would ads about 10% for this and you get about 50 amps. I think you can read the amps off the amp input side, they must state them.
Front 100 Watts
100 = 13.5A so this is 7 amps + waste say 8 amps but multiply by 2 for stereo.
Replacing speakers in 2002 chevrolet camaro?

If i have two four ohm subs with dual coils?

My stereo wont turn on?!?!? details below?
A M P = 2pts!Kicker Quality, L7's poor quality?
your going to need at least an 800 watt amp, but the higher you go the better it ll be.The radio settings reset every time i turn the car off?
your full range speekers should have a 400 watt 4 channel 100 watt peek per channel.your subs 1600 watt 2 channel 800 peek per channel
This is to get the best sound without slowly damaging your speakers from high power.
However you want your amp to match your speakers. The car audio world is hard to decifer from. If you have cheap speakers, a good amp of this size could blow them within seconds. best to go with the same make and model unless you know what is compatable.
i would go with two amps one for the front and the doors maybe a small kicker or mtx 4 channel and in the back or subs i would go with a driver 2 channel with at least 500 watts rmswith a remote bass control so you could tune it with out haveing to go to the amp everytime to adjust the bass..
