Installing Car aduio amplifier?

Question:
I recently bought a Pioneer GM-5300T amp for my subs. In the manual it says to use lugs for your ground, remote, power and speaker wires for connecting to the amp terminals. Do you need these or not? Currently i am not using them since i didnt know i needed to.should i get them and use them?

Answers:

Help me make my system sound good?

you should use them as it will produce a solid connection. also, when the wires are just wrapped around the screws, you can get loose wires from the core touching other wires. BAD NEWS.if the power lead touches the earth its not too good for the amp..as you can imagine. the sound quality will be much better if you have a solid connection throught the speaker cables, as no power is lost.

What will be a perfect amp?

no you dont need to use them but i would use one for the power wire connecting it to the battery. as for the ground just take the bolt out wrap the wire stripped wire around the bolt and tighten it back you will get the best ground
