How do i reset the security code on the factory radio when i forgot the code on a 2003 honda civic?
Do you want loud or sound quality. For $500 you might pick up a pair of Pyramid super blues 15" but you will hate them. The larger drivers will produce the very deep sub frequency but you won't have much punch.12" sub is the largest I would go with and if you want something that is remarkably clean and hits hard go with JL AUDIO. I have a pair of 10" W3's pushing 500 RMS watts and it is clean and it hits hard. In fact a lot harder than a pair of MTX 12" I had. The 12" JL Audio W3's should run about $200 a driver I paid $175 for my tens. I used a class D Memphis audio amp. Total amp and subs ran about $800. But it sounds great.
Instead of spending it on a sub-woofer take the $500 and invest it a money market account or the stock market. This way when you hearing is shot at age 50 you'll have the money to pay for a digital hearing aid and won't have to depend on welfare or medicaid to take care of you. Grow up and learn to spend less on material items and invest more on your future.
Look into Digital Designs' line of subwoofers. For $500 you should get a pretty nice driver.

The Kicker L7 isn't quite $500, but is a great SPL sub also.

i would recomend that you go with two 12 inch woofers instead of a 15 or 18. Bigger dosent always mean louder. If you go with two 12 inch L7 or the new L5(which are the old L7s) with a good amp you should very very loud. Another good subwoofer is the Memphis M3 or mojo. Me and my friend both hit in the 150 dbs with these woofers in our carsMore Questions & Answers ...
