High to low level converter. It takes a small signal from your stock unit's internal amplifier and adjusts it to make it suitable for your amp. Here are many different options to choose from.http://www.pie.net/store/index.cfm?actio...
You are going to have to use a RCA convertor. You would hook this device up to your stock speaker wires, One on the left side, one on the right side. This device then takes the speaker inputs and converts the signal leaving your stock deck into a RCA signal. The device has four wires to hook into your stock speakers, which lead into the device it self, then out the other end will be a pair of RCA's. You can find these all over the internet and at any local car audio shop.
Can anyone fix some car stereo / subwoofer clipping issues?
I would look for an amplifier with low level speaker wire inputs. Then you can just splice from the rear speaker wires. Can I install a double-din VW stereo in my 2001.5 VW Passat that came with a single-din?
Go to your local stereo shop and tell them you'd like a line ouput converter. This will turn one of your stereo channels into RCAs and then you can connect the amp to it.More Questions & Answers ...
