The CD player in my car has been acting up. Every time I try to put in a cd who are not scrached up in any way it always gives me an error read message and won't play the music. I use the CD player a lot since I don't want to listen to the stuff that is on any of the radio stations. It always played fine and now it's doing this crap. I have never messed with it in any way either. I just want to know what to do, I'm kind of tired of listening to wind every day.

Do you have an AUX input, if so you could try a CD changer or just replace the one you have.sounds like maybe the laser is worn out - unfortunately there's not much you can do to fix this. try using a cd/dvd cleaner disc in it - it probably wont do much but its worth a try - you may have to buy a new cd player
