Question:
Or will I loose bass quality reproduction doing so?
I have an Apline 600 watt 12" Sub in a ported small enclosure (which is whats coming out).
I have a 2003 VW Bora (Jetta for our American friends).
They have to be invisible by the way and the magnets not too big, as large loads are placed into the boot (trunk).
Many thanks for your time and help :-)

How can i fit a sub box in my truck?
get a stealth parcel shelf this will do almost the same job and you can just transfere your speakers to itWhat brand of cd players do you think is the best for around $250?
alpine make a small bass unit with a bass speaker and amp built in together that is designed to be fitted underneith the seat. i think they are around 150 pounds. they are not bad but nothing will ever be as bassy as a proper sub and amp but it is a good compramise!!i personally think the best thing for you is buy some TFT and harden the parcel shelf (takes 2 mins and doesn't effect boot size) and cut two 8 inch circles (diameter) buy two vibe, mutant, or JL 8 inch subs and run them off a 200watt Sony or shark amp, the amp can be put under the rear seats and once again wont effect the boot size, cover the two subs with felt so they cant be seen, this is good to keep the base going and wont be distorted if they are amped, hope this helps
there is an alpine sub out at the min thats very slimline but you will never replace the quality you have now with anything slim
