Question:
I just bought a fusion amp and sub package and wired it up but no sound. The power light is on the amp and all the wires are correct but there is no sound from the sub. Ideas anyone?

Could be a bad voice coil on the sub or you have no audio feed to the amp. Check the outputs from your head unit to your amp.

Without getting too technical, you can get a mini-amplified speaker from Radio Shack and get two leads (positive and negative) and wire them to a headphoe jack to plug into the mini amplified speaker. You can then take the amplified speaker and probe your signal wires for sound. You can check the outputs from your radio and amplifier too and you'll soon find out where the problem lies.

Have you used RCA (phono) leads from the head unit? If so, it might be a setting on your head unit providing no output.
