Question:
I have a 1997 Ford Taurus GL with a non-power antenna. Recently, the antenna broke, but the part that broke was the threaded screw section at the bottom, which is still stuck in hole.
How much does it Cost to have a CD player installed at best buy?
Any ideas how I can fix this, so I can replace the antenna without having to buy a bunch of parts?
Thanks for your (serious) suggestions!
Where can I buy a sub woofer/amp installation kit?
P. S. If you are going to bash Ford products, please don't bother responding. This is a great car except for the antenna mishap (which I think happened at the car wash).
Answers:
If you have access to a drill, you can pick up an extractor bit set from Sears, Home Depot, etc.
Extract the rest of the screw part and you should be able to purchase an aftermarket antenna from your local auto parts store or Walmart.
Hope this helps.
Is Power Acoustik a good brand for car subwoofers?
Crack open your trunk, and carefully remove the mat, any plastic, etc.... Unplug the antenna cable from the antenna. Remove the antenna. Its installed from the inside, not from the outside. Then just hit up your local Kragen, Walmart..... or if you want an OEM part, Ford dealer and install the new antenna.hey there u gay/ bi
