How do you re-set a radio in a corsa 1.4 sri - 2001?

Question:
The radio has been disconnected from power and now says SAFE on the display, I have the reset code from Vauxhall, but do not know how to enter it
Help!!

Turn the radio off, then turn the ignition on, as you then turn the radio back on hold the as button at the same time, keep them pressed for about 10 seconds and you should hear a beep. this will then allow you to put the code in. after inputting the code press the as button again to store the code. this should rectify the situation for you. you need car engine to be running as it is another in built system for the stereo and without the engine running it will not allow you to go to the screen where you enter the code.
