and i blew out my crappy bass. Music sucks the big one without a good bass, so i was wondering what i could do to replace it (i dont really want to fix it). thanks alot

What does it technically mean when your car speakers are "blown"?

you had stock speakers? trying to push bass through stock speakers is always a horrible idea, stock speakers have a paper cone, which surprise surprise! can tear if it is stressed to much! I always stress to any of my friends (most of whom i have installed stereo systems for) that the best and first investment to make is new (name brand!) speakers. you get what you pay for with speakers, the more you spend the better off you are. DON'T EVER BUY USED SPEAKERS! stick with new, you don't know what the previous owners did to what you're spending money on. I definitely like going through Crutchfield, they give you lots of help that you won't get from the people at walmart and they have a decent prices and ship times.
