OK first of all, ou are going to need 0 guage wire, definitely.

What will be agood amp to push 2 12" polkaudio momo 400 watts each?

In the amp kit, should be long enough power wire for your vehicle, same guage ground wire, about 3 feet, audio cables, remote wire, and some kits come with speaker wire. I suggest buying some 10 guage speaker wire, even power wire will work, because you can push more power to the subs, resulting in harder hits.

Second, run some wire from your alternator to your battery, then to another battery in your trunk. That will get you the most power.

While installing, maybe common sense, but anyways: tape the ends of hot wires so you dont risk grounding out your car!

About that switch idea: you don't ned a switch, just turn down your radio! But if you really must have a switch:

Where can I find directions to make "MindBlowers Speakers"?

Just go to a radioshack or some small electronice store and find a small toggle switch. Once the REMOTE WIRE is ran from the back of the radio, cut it where you want your switch, and put the switch there where you cut it. This will make the amplifer think that you shut your radio off and power down when you have the switch turned off!

How can I best upgrade my 2007 Civic sedan EX stereo?

you're going to need to run multiple amps on this one. I would go one amp for each sub. Try to match RMS ratings for each amp and sub combo. You will also need to run 0/1ga and 4ga wire to each amp. I would run 0 ga from the battery to a distributor then run 4 ga to each amp. Make sure the 4 ga is FUSED. you don't want a fire in your car. You will need to do the same for the ground. Run your 4 ga wires (one from each amp) into a distributor and then a 0 ga to a ground. You'd probably be better off not getting an amp kit and just getting your wires. You will also need 16 or 18 ga wire for running a remote wire and RCA cables. And you need to intergrate your cap somwhere in there on the powerside. Your battery should be find, you'll need a bigger alternator though to keep your battery charged.
