What kind of amplifier should I use for 2 Kicker CVR 15 inch Subwoofers?

Question:
If I get them a amp that does 2 ohm stable then I need to get them in 4 ohm correct?and if get an amp that does 1 ohm stable then i need to get the subs at 2ohm? If I get them at two ohm with a ohm stable amp they will hit harder.
I was looking into memphis or kicker amps but open to suggestions they rate at 500 rms each.

if you buy the dual 2ohm model you want a 2ohm mono block
for the dual 4ohm you want either a 1ohm stable mono block or
a 2 channel @ 4ohm bridged mono.
