What is the best kind of 12" subwoofer i can get for a single cab ford f-150?

Sorry Nick but Wal-Mart is definitely not the place to go for car audio. if you want good quality and a good price, then shop around some of your local car audio shops and consumer electronic stores. 10" subs can run you anywhere from $25 to $300+ per sub. it all depends n what kind of sound quality, product quality and wattage you want. then of course you will need an amp(add $160+) and an amp kit(add $70+). professional installation could also be a good idea if you have never done anything like this before(add $50+). make sure you do your home work and talk to someone who has some experience. i guarantee you that if you go the cheap way you will either end up with cheap sound or an inferior product. that will just lead to more money spent in the long run on what you should have purchased in the beginning.

Can anyone help car radio code for philips?

Check your local Walmart for the Pioneer 10 inchers (TS-W251R) They run about $48 and I have read good reviews about these speakers. I personally picked up the 12s because I wanted that extra punch for only another $10. Keep in mind that for the easiest setup, you will need a two channel amp that puts out 120 watts per channel at 4 ohms. And you must factor in a speaker enclosure as well. I built mine because the prices I saw were out of control. I wouldnt trust buying a cheap box online because they are most likely made out of poor materials. Wiring is also important. While you are at walmart, you could get a Scosche wiring kit that is rated for your amp. The 1400 watt kit I bought was about $30, but your setup most likely wouldnt need wires that big so the kit would be cheaper. Note that these kits do not include speaker wire. When pushing so much power to a speaker, traditional skinny speaker wire wont cut it.

Will this give me more bass?

Hope that you have a big enough alternator. If you hook everything up and your lights dim when your volume is loud, you might want to look into getting a capacitor to help the system. If you have electrical problems at normal volume levels, your alternator is most likely at fault for being too puny. Good luck.
