Sony Xplode cd player not working but radio is?
Hello. It sounds like you have either disconnected the battery or had a dead battery, or even a blown fuse. Regardless of the cause, your radio has had an interruption in power. If you dont have the code to the radio (usually on a credit card sized card in the glove box or maybe in the manual), then you will have to pull the radio out of the car and get the serial number off the back. You will then have to go to a GM dealership and give them the serial number and they will give you the code to the radio. and probably charge you for it, but I cant tell you that. Theftlock is a joke and I hate that they ever did this with factory decks. because of this problem. Once you get the code you will type it in on the front display and hit power. That will get you up and going again. There is a way to turn the theftlock off once you get it running again, but you will have to unlock it first and then read the manual on how to turn it off. One other thing, be sure to not just push alot of buttons, because if you enter the code wrong too many times, it will lock down and you will have even more troubles. Sorry for the bad news, but I hoped that I helped! Good luck and Live Loud!!More Questions & Answers ...
