Can you help me with an Audi radio code?
The term "Satellite Radio" is deceiving, because it is not actually broadcast over radio waves. The signal can go through the bridge, as long as it isn't too thick.
How do you remove vauxhall car stereo from corsa 2002?
it IS satellite feed...satellites transmit signal to the reciever you buy from XM...then the reciever, depending on if you directly connected the unit to your stereo or not, will transmit a FM radio frequency that can be picked up by any radio nearby. The problem is that when you don't directly connect the satellite reciever to your radio tuner, you tend to get static which i think defeats the whole purpose. in other words, if you get satellite radio, hook up directly to your tuner and don't rely on its built in FM transmitter.Hooking up a car audio system with 3 amps and 4 subs?
to answer your question, when using satellite radio, the feed stores itself in memory for situations such as passing under a bridge or whatever, that way your music doesnt cut out every time. However, if you are blocked from the sky for a long period of time, like a tunnel, the memory feed will eventually be used up and the music will cut out.
How do i connect my mp3 player to my car stereo ?
Im sure as the technology gets better, XM or Sirius will install better memory in their units so that you can store your music for upto an hour so when you drive under tunnels, you can still jam out!
Satellite signals do get blocked at times.
Which is the best gauge wire to use for subs? mids? will it really make a difference?
XM is satellite and ground based. They have repeaters in the major cities that have very high buildings so that their signal is less disturbed. I used to have XM and very rarely lost my signal. Only in the longest tunnels or in underground/multiple deck garages. It even played while I was in my garage.
Whats the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
I switched to Sirius about 2 years ago. Their signal is much weaker. I do get cutouts when in my garage and in shorter tunnels than XM used to. It's just something you get used to.
If i hook up my 1400 watt speaker to a 200 watt amp, will my speaker blow? please help?
It's no worse than making a turn at an intersection and getting all sorts of FM static or losing your signal from a weak station.
What company makes the best amps? I've heard a lot of people recommend Rockford Fosgate.?
Even though Sirius seems weaker in signal strength than XM...to me...I still prefer it. It suits my music tastes much better.
