Anything up to 1% is not even noticeable by the human ear esp. in a car enviro. Speakers distortion starts at about 1% and depending on frequency can go way higher than that. In other words the distortion of speakers makes the distortion of amps a moot point. For amps those specs are worthless, virtually all non-cheap amps nowadays have more than acceptable THD%. Make sure the amp has all the func's and power you need (more is always better).
