Would this work?

Question:
i put a cd deck in and the back right speaker doesnt work. i switched them around and it has to be the wiring somwhere cuz they both work just not in the back right spot. if i took out my deck and tookt he back right outgoing speaker wire and connected it to speaker wire to take back to the speaker that doesnt work and connect it like that would that work? i was thinking it would but im not sure if it would or not.

It will work, but you run the risk of overdriving the amplifiers in the head unit with the lower impedance.
