K so converting a Contico molded plastic toolbox. already have the inside dynamated and undercoated(also around lid. i already mounted 2 kicker comp 10s in the lid and a JBL bp1200.1 amp on the back side. So my amp is way to big for those comps. I have 2 old skool soundstream graphite 8s (best subs ive ever had) si im thinkin bout mounting those on the front. the toolbox is sealed right now but i was either gonna supersize my ports, cut the ends off and extend plexi and lights, or just get brackets to hold the lid up a few. oh yeah... the box is 36x14x8.5. If you wanna see the box just email me and ill send you a pic. eventually this is going to be a fully portable/powered BOOMbox!

Too much info to answer but, don't mix the 10's and 8's in the same box. Something will eventually give...probably the 8's. If you need more speakers because of box size, get 2 more 10's of the same model you have now.Car Audio cd player for the matiz?

if one speaker is more powerful than another, and the air space is not enough, restricted.the stronger will not allow the weaker to punch, in turn hurting it.

They make portable boxes like this, w/ radio and CD players already in them. Jeep even made one for a while.
All four speakers share the same air space? That's not good, especially if one speaker were to fail. The whole dynamic sound would change drastically.

What about power supplies. You'll be buying batteries out the ying yang.
I'm not trying to knock your design, but performance won't be what you think.
