Car deck in my house?

Question:
ok i know theres many post on this, but i dont understand them at all. i have the 12v converter, a deck, amp, 2 12s in a box. i want this to work in my room. if some one can please do a step by step on this or give me a link to it i would really appreciate guys. on my converter there is a pos neg and a ground hole to put the wires in. PLEASE HELP ME

Depending upon the size of the amplifier, your 12 volt converter may not be large enough to run and amp. Most small converters will only run small amounts of amperage. A converter to properly pull an amplifier will need at least 15 to 20 amp capacity, depending on how big the amp is and how loud you are going to play it. If you have a large enough power supply, then take the car stereo, tie the yellow and red wire together and that will be the positive for the radio. The black wire on the radio will be ground. On the amplifier run a power wire from the (+) terminal of the amp to the power supply and tie it in with the radio. Should be a total of 3 wires on the positive terminal. Run a ground wire from the (-) side of the amp to the black connector (ground) on the power supply. Should be a total of 2 wires at this connection. Run a wire from the radio wire color blue/white to the "rem" terminal of the amplifier. Run an RCA cable from the back of the radio to the amplifier input. Run 2 speaker wires from the amplifier to each speaker. That should do it. There are alot of possiblilities of mistakes here because I dont know what ohmage speakers you have, the size of the amplifier, the brand of radio, etc. etc. This is just a general format. its not that compicated hook your speakers up and you could just use an adapter that has an input of 120v and an out put of 12v dc just strip the wires down and connect to the right wires of course the power wires dont worry about ground thats just for your alternator in your car you should build a wooden box around your deck so the wires arent exposed

You need a car battery with a lot of amp hours so it will last a while. recharge when needed. For best sound use the battery and not a converter unless it is really good one. charge battery outside due to vapor release during charging. Marine or deep cycle would help more as far as overall battery life.
