Question:
I have had this unit installed in y car for about four years, and recently its auto-flap down fuction when the car ignition is switched off won;t work, leaving me to force the head unit panel off. It also won't eject cds, so I am pretty much stuck listening to the same cd. Any ideas as to what the problem might be. I have already tried to reset the head unit but still no luck.

Okay so what do I do? My amplifier has shut down and I've been told it's my REMOTE wire. Should I replace it?
is the auto-flap motorized? those motorized ones just stop working after a while...my gf used to work at bestbuy and people would retrun those all the time for that same reason. may or may not have something to do with the cd not ejecting. you may just need to invest in a new unit. it sounds like yours is pretty old anyway, there are much better units out there now that are reletively cheap. also look on ebay or the weekly ad in bestbuy, circuit city, etc, even walmart sells pioneer these days. stay away from motorized units!!
