Question:
Ok, Got my two subs goin in whenever I can get all the tangibles (wires, brackets, TIME) together. Install should be easy since I got my dad who is a wiring genius. What I want to know is if the pigtail RCA's on the back of the radio are dependent of the bass and treble control on the radio's speakers. I want to boost the bass to the subs and reduce the bass to the other 4 speakers. Would reducing the bass on the radio reduce the bass from the sub? Any other way to do this? I have a Dual XD7510 reciever if you care. Thanks

It will reduce the bass, but the best way to fix that is to get an equalizer for controlling your subs and any other speakers you have. I have an equalizer in my Cutlass and it works fine.I have one 12 in. pioneer premier and 2400w lanzar what would be the best way to hook it up.?
Yes an equalizer will fix the problem. Don't put your subs on the equalizer, either. Its just for your mids and highs! And some 1" silk dome tweeters would be nice too. You could be doing it now but youre fooling around on the internet. The time is now.Where can I get good priced car audio online?
You really need to upgrade your receiver, I would recommend Alpine, they have build in equalizers so you can send mid range frequencies to your four internal speakers and all the lows to your subs. They also have a separate volume control for just your subwoofer.More Questions & Answers ...
