Any suggestions for websites, or anyone that can tell me how to do it, and what kind of car cd player i should buy, etc. etc. all the minute details, because i am clueless, this is my first car, i'm 16, female, and have no clue about cars, so anything would be helpful and greatly appreciated!! :)

I have a 94 cavalier! I just put in a radio in mine! First you need to remove the 2 middle air vents...they just pop out. Then you will remove the bezel around the radio and the heater controls (all one piece). that just pops out also. At that point You will see 2 screws holding the radio in. Remove them remove the radio then remove the wire connections. When you go to buy your radio, You will need a Radio dash kit. that's about $20-50 depending on where you go. you will also need a wiring kit also that it about $10-30. I put the pioneer 7700 stereo in mine. Great sounding radio. I also replaced the original 6x9's in the rear with alpine "S"series 6x9's as well as the 3.5 inch speakers in the front with 3.5 inch kenwood speakers. But make sure you buy "BASS STOPPERS" its a very small capacitor that will hook up to the wire in the front speakers. Otherwise you will blow you front speakers! I added a 1000 watt kenwood amp in the trunk to run the 6x9's I only have it running at about 300 watts to minimize speaker EXPLOSION!How do i install a cd player in a 94 Chevy Cavalier?

Just take the tape player out and match all the wires up with the cd player wires. You will need some black tape also. If u dont put tape on the wires the wires will touch and the wires will start smoking and it may catch on fire so DON'T FORGET THE TAPE OK.unless you know what you are doing, its best to let a professional do it. thats what i am going to do. i dont want to mess up anything to i am going to an auto shop that specializes in music, or i might order from crutchfield and have it installed by a professional. good luck.
