I have a dual 7'' tft lcd touch screen xdvd8181 need help bypassing the parking brake feature?

I heard that if you hook up the yellow parking brake wire to the ground off of the head unit you can watch movies while the car in in motion for my passengers to watch. I tried it and it does not work. need help maybe i did something wrong thanks.

Took a look at the manual on Crutchfield...if you closely to the diagram your safety wire requires 12v and not a ground. Hook this wire to the Blue/white wire that is used for turning on your amps. That will supply 12V when you power up and your screen should work whenever your system is on.FYI...illegal as all hell if you can see it too so be careful around the fuzz!
