12 volt transformers/connect car radio in home?

what type of 12 volt transformer do I need to connect my car stereo to 240 volt mains power, to instal the unit in my home and listen to my cd`s/fm radio. any help appreciated ,ta!

tobi is right with the exception that the current needs to be more like 5 amperes and 12 volts DC, when in doubt look at the fuse and match it up with the amperage of the supply.
