Installing a flip-top Monitor in my car?

Question:
I've visited dealer websites and viewed answers on this forum. I understand that there's a mounting bracket and everything for securing the flip-top monitor to the roof. However, I need to get power from somewhere and I don't want a cable dangling down from the monitor to a DC outlet. How do I go about running a cable to where I need it (i.e. up into the roof liner to...)? I realize that it depends on the vehicle (Chrysler T&C), but how do I even begin to figure our where to run it? I've never done this type of thing before, but figure with a little direction, it should be something I can do.

Help me fix my jvc car radio!?

I have installed several systems in these. I dont know which year model you have, but if you have the rooftop climate controls, remove them, then unsnap the roof console in the front. run the wires down the center of the roof to the windshield and then down the passenger side of the headliner. When you get to the passenger pillar, remove the rubber seal (just pull it outwards) and there will be a gap that you can run the wires down. When you get to the side of the dash, unsnap the side of the dash to get behind the glove box. There you can do your connections and hide your wires, plus there is an extra bonus, you will also find a standard motorola antenna plug there for your RF modulator so you can listen to the dvd through the factory speakers without needing the antenna adapters behind the radio.(assuming that you dont have a wireless RF modulator) What you can do to mount the tv to the ceiling is slide a couple of pieces of wood above the headliner and secure them into place with some short screws to keep them from sliding. Then mount the tv to the bottom side of the headliner. in other words, wood on top, headliner in middle, tv on bottom. Sandwiching the headliner between the tv and wood will hold it up there. You should have a small plastic push in retainer that holds the headliner up. You can remove it and run the wires from the tv down that hole toward the windshield. As far as power and ground, if that is all you are needing, you can get those from the center roof console at the dome lights. I am trying to give you information based on what I think you have to work with. To give you specifics, I would have to know what player you are using and the year model of the van. Maybe this helped some! Live Loud!

Why does my car cd player keep going back to track 1 each time i start the car ? should it have a memory?

Up the kickpanel...through the A piller trim panel.(wind shield piller).and then above the headliner.there you go!
