sounds like you're using cheapo wires/cablesyou can buy a noise filter to help filter out the sound sometimes they work and sometimes they don't ...you can prob. try an auto parts store if u can't find one there try a truck stop they sell them for the "big trucks" but i'm sure they can be used for cars as well.

You can get suppresors for different parts of the engine,ignition,alternator noise is the most common.You need to meter your grounds and check for resistance. a proper ground will meter at less than 0.5 ohms of resistance. A noise suppressor is just a band aid and will not cure your noise problem until you find the source anyway.
Go to the store where you bought the stuff and get a noise suppressor or rf suppressor. Different names but works the same.

How long is the ground wire for the amp? You want to keep this wire as short as possible to help eliminate excessive engine noise. Also check your ground from battery to frame, if your not getting a good ground here you will have lots of noise....Might be a good investment to just replace the battery ground cable altogether.Where can i find wholsale Audiobahn Subwoofers?
