Question:
I'm installing 2 12" Kicker subs in my car, I purchased a Sub box to enclose these. I heard somewhere that if you switch out the wiring that was included in the Sub box the sound quality would be better... is this true?
Answers:
do car speakers need to be in an airtight box?
It would depend on the wire used in the subs, but usually that is true.Choose your favorite powerd sub. for under $400.00.?
The bigger the better. 10 AWG is fine.clarion radio can anybody help to de code?
My site is good read on the differences of enclosures and how they play a part in sound quality: http://spkrbox1.spaces.live.com...

how to charge Xpress CA155XS 1.5 Farad Capacitor?
What model are they? You cant decide the speaker wire based on the make and size of the sub. you have to look at the specs. I had 8 guage on my 2 12inch Kicker comps. I'm now using 4 guage on my 2 12 inch Kicker CVRs. Bigger NEVER hurts. Its like an air passage to your speakers. Think of it as running a mile with just a straw to breath out of or running the mile with a wide open mouth to breath out of.More Questions & Answers ...
