I wanted to know about port holes! if I drill a 3" hole in my box (speaker box is divided so they don't compete with each other for air space) will it sound better or will it make my speakers sound like crap!

Sound like crap. You can't just add ports to an enclosure. The ported enclosure must be built from the ground up and be designed to the T/S parameters of the sub(s).WHAT KIND OF SPEAKER SHOULD MY FRIEND BUY FOR A HIFONICS BRUTUS AMP(MODEL bxi1206d) 1200X1rms@1ohm?

I have a '93 YJ and with the limited space behind the rear seat, it's simply not enough cubic feet to make a box big enough to be ported. By nature, ported boxes are bigger than sealed boxes... You simply can't punch a hole in a sealed box and make it ported.
How do you charge a capacitor?
Stick with sealed or build a new (read: bigger) box if you want ported.
