I have 2100 watts with my amp and my cap. combined, and I'm looking for the right amp installation kit, help!!

Question:
Ok, like I said, I have 2100 watts with my capacitor and amp combined, and I need an amp installation kit. Wellllll, I'm looking at this one installation kit that is a 2000 watt kit. Even though it is only 100 watts off, I'm worried that even 100 watts can fry the wires, so, I just need someone to tell me if its ok to go ahead and get the 2000 watt installation kit, or get a more powerfull kit, such as a 3000 watt....I also tried finding a 2500 watt installation kit, not to much luck there, thought I found something, but I don't know.thanks for the help...and please, someone who knows what they are talking about..

How do i know if my speakers are blown as oppose to my amp?

I'm assuming the amp is 2100watts MAX, right?

Can you add more power to your amp in your car?

Even if it's 2100W RMS, I wouldn't see you having much problem with using the 2000W kit, they just kind of ball-park that number. If the fuse it comes with is higher than the combined value of the fuses on the amp, you're golden. (I.e.) if you amp has two 25A fuses, and the kit comes with a 50A fuse, you're good!

I just bought 2 12" kicker Comp vr subs what amp do i need to get?

If you want to get really technical, for a 2000W MAX system (assuming it's 1000W RMS, which is generous). You would be fine with 4AWG power and ground wires, the wire will usually say what it's max amp rating is, then you can buy a fuse of that value (or maybe a bit more, it's not too important how close you get.) I use 8AWG, and it's never given me a problem.

What the best sq subwoofer?

First of all, you don't need a kit. All you need is a power wire, a ground, a remote on, RCA's and speaker wire. You can buy all of these buy the foot. Look in the amp manual and it will tell you what gauge wire to use. If you don't have the manual. Go to the Manufacturers web site and look in the online manual. Make sure you run your power wire and remote on away (opposite sides) from your speaker and RCA's. Also, keep you ground wire under 18" from the amp and keep your fuse 18" or less from the battery. If you still want to use a kit the 2000 will be fine the wires don't fry, ever and you only need to use the Cap if your headlights dim when you crank it. Good-Luck

I need a radio installation kit for my 1996 Chevrolet Blazer LS. Please help!?

I'm not sure I understand "2100 watts with my capacitor and amp combined" as a cap has nothing to do with watts.

2 15" Kicker L7 vs.. 1 15" RE Audio XXX?

Get a kit that matches just the amps watts. Be sure the main fuse is the sum of the ratngs of all fuses on the amp.
