Can I use my stock VW deck with no RCA cable ports with an AMP to power subs?
Sounds to me, that you need a audio noise filter. You can buy them at any car audio shop.Did you install an amp to power your 2 12"s?
If so, make sure that your ground wire is on right. Make sure that the end you connected to the car is up against bare metal and is bolted down or screwed down or secured some other way. If you mounted it somewhere that has paint, I would sand down the paint to bare metal, just where the ground touches.
Why is it that when i try to play a c.d on my stock radio deck it says "err".?
This is almost definately your problem, it's called "alternater whine" or "alternater buzz" and it should change sound when you rev the engine.
Kenwood or Goodmans Cd. Player ??
The reason it makes this sound when the lights are on is because your alternator has to work really hard to charge the battery, because your are running lights (lots of power needed) and a beefy amp, and you dont have a smooth path (the ground) for the electricity to flow through.
OK i want to put an amp in a pt cruiser.?

Another thing you can try is to run your signal wires on one side of the car (the RCAs or speaker wires) and the power wire on the other side of the car. This is often considered a myth, that this would cause whine, but it's worth a shot if fixing your ground doesn't work.
Good luck!
Do I need a new car stereo or just have it repaired?
Before you buy a noise filter, In most cases the feedback your hearing usually just a bad ground. Take the ground wire from your head unit a ground it directly to the chassis. Be sure to scrape off all the paint so you have a good metal to metal contact. Also check all your connections mainly dimmer, power antenna, remote on. Try disconnecting the dimmer lead. Good-Lucka wire isnt grounded properly. check your grounds to make sure there on a good enough surface and connected good..
