I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra and the radio display doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Question:
Everything else on the radio works fine.

Answers:

Have you lost or forgotten your radio code due to a flat battery?

Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems. It seems nowadays that automotive manufacturers are attempting to make cars more affordable, thus cutting back on quality in certain areas. Not many factory head units impress me anymore. More than likely the lcd display has gone out. Depending upon the model, it could just be the internal illumination bulb, but I would have to see the radio. Unfortunately, repair on a factory unit will be expensive. You can purchase an aftermarket head unit for a fraction of the price of a new factory deck, and get 3 times the features. If you are steadfast to keep the factory deck, then I would suggest checking on ebay for a good unit. Just make sure you buy from a reputable seller. Hope this helped! Live Loud!
