Ok I have $1000 give or take a couple hundred. What system would sound good in a 97 Accord? I already have a cd player and good car speakers. What Subs and amp should I get. Be specific if you can and name not just brands but models. I need as many ideas as possible.

-if ur gunna go with anything alpine go with two type X 12"'s with a MTX 1501D amp .-you could go with a 15" mtx 9500 with a mtx1501d
-you could go with two 15" 9500`s with a MA Audio hk4000d(this is my set up and it is crazy loud last time i hit 156db's with it-but you will have to upgrade ur alternator with that kind of set up-it also might be hard to fit in your car)
-you could get one jl 13w7 with a jl audio 1000/1
-you could go with 2 12"kicker l7`s with two mtx 1501d amps or two hifoncs BXI(brutus)[you would not have much more trunk space with this]
any of those set ups would be very loud. the one with the best sound quality would definitly be the best sounding. the loudest would be the two 9500`s with the ma audio hk4000d with on them

2 12" alpine type S subs. Vented or ported enclosure. Audiobahn A8002V amp. I had this setup in my old car and it was crazy loud!My answer to your question would have to be rockford fosgate they are very durable and sound great in almost any car just remember to match the subs to the amp and keep in mind that since your putting your speakers in the trunk get a box that isnt ported.One that doesnt have any holes in it and also face your speakers towards your trunk lid -- this will push your bass to the front of the car where it will hit you in the back of your head..lol hope i helped if not you can im me on yahoo messenger on the name thrillamilla_15 im on right now
