I have a Kenwood Cd player4 my car. After my amp was overloaded, player is in Protect mode. How do I disable it?

2 X alpine spr-176 6.5"/1" 2-way component (3.5kHz xover @ 4ohms)

2 X infinity crossover (3.5kHz@4 ohms) each with
one alpine .75" tweeter and
one 4-ohm infinity 6010cs 6.5" woofer and
one 4-ohm goldwood gw-s650/4 7" woofer

I just bought a new system for my car but for some reason i cant get no power to the amp what could be the pro

i realize that this second set brings impedence to 2 ohms but am not certain what that changes the xover point to. this may be the key to my question!

What speakers are louder.. jbl or EV? i want louder like screaming not the bass?

Look at the low end of the tweet and the top end of the woofer with the highest freqeuncy. The cross point will be an average of these two figures. However, the rolloff will also depict where the cross point will be as well.

Where do I connect the REM on an amp to a Kenwood Z828 (the stock stereo in a 04 F150 Heritage STX)?

Your best bet is to actually draw a graph of what you have so you can "see" what your up against. Then apply this to the real world. Of course what's on paper may not be real world, so this is where the final adjustment will be by your ears.

"i was wondering how the reduced impedence of the dual woofers in parallel changes the x-over point."

What car stereo products are actually made in the USA??

The frequency response doesn't change no matter the impedance. Each speaker will retain it's own frequency response.

I have a volfenhag 2 channel 2000 watt amp problems?

As a whole, the "new" frequency response will be an overlay of the individual responses. To be safe, look at each speakers low end, whicher is higher, that is now the lowest that can be fed, likewise with the high end of each speaker, which ever is the lower of the two values is the new high point. Since frequency reproduction will be based on these two new numbers, this gives you a reference point for the X-overs. I hope I expalined that well enough, it can be quite tricky.

Simple question about wiring speakers?

I notice this happens mostly in metal domed tweeters especially. You could adjust the x over frequencies to help this somewhat. Also playing compressed music will cause a more muddy like sound that only further complicates the effects of metal domed tweeters. Also I noticed that you are using an infinity x over with alpine tweets which also could further complicates things because when companies design a x over they usaully will design it for a given parameter only compatible with the particular component set
