Problem with CD player?

i just bought a pioneer 5900 and when i put a cd in, the motor that loads the disc makes a horrible clicking noise then spits the cd back out. is there anything that i could do to fix it?

Get a flashlight and look inside. Maybe a foreign particle fell into the disk opening and is blocking the load cycle. If something is present, you may have to remove it from car and disassemble case to get at it. If not, then try returning it to place of purchase.

try to clean it out with a can of compressed air but be sure to hold it up right so you don't freez anything :)
