Why dont my sub keep a steady bass beat?

check and see that it is in phase (that the positive and negative terminals of your sub match the terminals of the amp) especially if you have two subs in the same box. don't just check the box's terminals, either. i mean really check all the wires so that they all match.

More than likely it is not receiving enough power. It is your amplifier or alternator not putting out enough probably.. But that is just a suggestion.

yep i think its a power prob. aswell . invest in a power cap and upgrade ur altenator.
