How do i fix a auxilary line that keeps cutting out on a head unit?

Question:
i have a sony cdx-gt200 head unit that keeps cutting out. i currently have the Sirius Stratus plugged into it and in order to get the left speakers to have sound i have to push up the cord. is there a way i can fix it?
