How do i hook two 12" 2 ohm speakers to a 4 ohm 2 channel amp?

Question:
i have them ran + on one speaker to - on the other, and the remaining + and _ on each speaker to each other. The speakers are a dual voice cole. And im haveing trouble with them putting my amp into protect mode like i have them wired. When theres no speaker load on amp it stays on green but when loaded it shoots into protect mode. Please help.

Since you can't wire two 2 ohm DVC to 4 ohm, you'll have to wire them to 8 ohms. That is to wire the (+) from one coil to the (-) of the next and repeat to the next sub until you have both a + and - free to connect to the amp. This will cut the power in half.
