Question:
I installed new pioneer speakers last weekend, used them all week. and this weekend, since i have some time off from work i decided i was going to install a new Dual XDM7510 dash radio that i asked for for christmas. I bought a wiring harness -saudered the correct wires -insulated the wires -attached the wiring harness to the new radio and attached the harness to the factory wires that attached to the factory radio. Plugged the new attenna from the radio into the cars antenna connector and then put rubber caps on the amplifiers outputs because i dont think i needed them because im waiting till next weekend to install my amp =x mounted the radio -reattached the neg term to the battery and started the car. radio turned on, but there was no sound coming out from my speakers. Turned the ignition key to ACC and got the radio clearly -turned it to ON and got nothing, turned the engine on and got nothing again. When i tried to turn it back to ACC, i couldnt get it to play again.Thanks4thehelp

What is the best brand of amps and speakers you can buy?
I actually was just in the Car Radio market today! Shopped at Best Buy and actually, that Dual radio was one of my options. As soon as I asked a worker to get it for me to purchase, he highly recommended I not purchase it as he had seen 4 of them returned for not working just that very same day. He said go with any other brand and your fine. Just. Not. Dual. I ended up finding a Sony one for only $10 more with many more feautures and a better look. Possible for you to do that same?sony amps what do you think about them?
Is your wiring from the head unit all match up with the speaker wires? that would be the first thing I'd check. If it does, you're probly not getting power. check your ground and your apm.More Questions & Answers ...
