Since they're 2000 watts RMS each, the amp I link you to will be perfect. Yes, two 2 ohms in parallel is 1 ohm.

Will wiring tweeters incorrectly damage them?

depends on how you want your sound. obviously, most people want to wire them as easy as possible, which would be in a series. unfortunately, you don't get the best sound quality or kick from them. I say to run them in parallel(distributes more power to each individual speaker) as it makes a better sound and delivers the most efficient bass.

My CD player does not have a remote wire, so how can i hook up my amp?

I Am trying to fit a car radio. I have power, cd injects and ejects. But get no display on the screen. Help?

Yes it will, and don't do it unless your amp is set up to run that way, it will overheat fast. check what ohmage your amp runs at and what your speakers or subs run at. Most larger amps can run on 2 ohms and some speakers have dual voice coils allowing them to run on 2 ohms. If your amp will handle it, it'll produce louder sound. It probably wont hurt anything right away, but if it overheats and/or shuts off you need to change your setup.

what des the MID setting doing on my pioneer stereo?

Depends on what your amp can handle. If your amp is stable down to 1 ohm, then yes, wire the subs in parallel. If its stable at 4 ohm, then wire them in series.
