What is the thread size for a guitar/amp knob?

Question:
I am not a musician but I'd like to make some custon guitar knobs to offer on ebay. I think there are 2 types of knob. One is a push on and the other goes on with a set screw.

What amp can i use to power 2 dual 4 ohm 10 in l7's?

What type of fitting should I put into the knob so that it will work with any (or most) guitars and amps? Thanks.

The set screw type can be used on the knurled press on type pots, but not vis-versa, so go with the set screw type.
