Wheres the bass in compos?

Question:
i have a pioneer component installed..consists of mid range and tweeters. How could this be better than a 3 way speaker when the three way also have part to include bass? Thus sometimes it seems to me that the compos are making more shrill noise and missing out on low notes that speaker catches..is it true?

Another question. How many and how big of tvs should I put in the car too?

Components will make as much bass as a comparably sized coaxial speaker. They may have a lower efficiency because they expect you to use a power amplifier. Adding an amp to your system will get you a lot more low frequency from your component speakers. If you install an amp be sure to use a high pass filter. set it to at least the minimum frequency in the rated frequency response of the speakers. if the low notes make the speakers "pop" turn the HP crossover higher.
